Self-centering vise from ROEMHELD handles prismatic and round parts.

Fenton, MO — PC 80 Clamping System is a manual vise that comes in two styles, fixed jaw and self-centering. It features a simple, rigid, all-steel design, and includes clamping jaws with a dovetail shaped serrated gripping feature that can be quickly reversed or changed out. The vise can hold manufacturers round inserts, enabling cylindrical parts or billets from 44 to 95 mm in diameter to be clamped securely. This provides the benefit of no longer needing an additional custom workholding solution or set of soft jaws to hold parts of different diameters. The vise can be converted back within a couple of minutes to its conventional role of holding prismatic components. The PC80 has a stroke up to 62mm and a clamping force up to 4500 lbs. The vise is compatible with ROEMHELD’s own 5-Axis riser, as well as existing quick-change solutions of other manufacturers’ Zero-Point 52mm pins or the use of a Quintus Pull-Down Bolt.
